She is going to be mine if I can raise the cash. If I can't raise the cash I'm buying a cheaper boat and using her as a model on how to convert it.

Ben now look what posting my boat up has lead to. I should never have shown it to you until I had sold Garthy's kidney so I can afford it
I've done all the figures today and even if I sell my house and all its contents I'll still be a few thousand short on what I've worked out the boat would cost to buy, moor, insure, licence etc I guess unless I find someone who wants to invest in it with me I'll have to get a cheaper boat and renovate it myself.
I'm still going to go and see it though if the owner doesn't mind. I really want to see if its as gorgeous in real life as the pictures make it look.

ooh ooh! can i help? renovate i mean, you don't have to date me though. we can find another carpenter to fulfill that role if you want, i know of a few.
hmmm... a whole boat website, maybe i can find a clapped out old one that'd fit in my budget until i have to pay a small fortune in docking fees....

How about THIS one for renovating? I like the open front deck, but I think if it had a roll on/roll of glass roof it would be better. I'm sure you could make it so it had a sliding A-frame glass roof....

she's a nice boat too, don't like the colour much mind but that's easy. Sliding glass roof is a bit more complicated but equally possible, like a floating conservatory...

No! cor... but it's not hard to imagine the floating ikea store is it, they'll probably take over a north sea oil rig or something, wouldn't take much to convert it to a nice blue shed and stuff it with furniture.
but in reality i think Ikea stuff would fall apart on the ocean (canal) waves, the moisture would make all the chipboard expand and split....

OMG shul that is sooooooo awesome. i suppose a"wide deam" boat would be on with i bigger width? that one looked awesome but was very narrow. "but have you considered there is more to life than your eyelids?"
