For EJC Ireland 2006, we have secured the use of the largest indoor

hall in Ireland, with plenty of fields for tents, camping and fun, all

on the same site. We realise that the dates are significantly earlier

than many of you were expecting, but if we held the EJC in August, as

in previous years, we would be unable to use a site of this quality.

Our priority is to deliver a great convention, and that is what we are

concentrating on doing!

Now added to the website :

Travel Information

Photos of the hall

Accommodation Options

Forums now added - arrange lifts to Millstreet, and chat about the EJC here!

Please direct any questions or comments to info@ejc2006.net

We look forward to seeing you all here!

Try telling that to jugglers smile

I've just pre-registered, so I suppose I should really start working out how I'm going to get there biggrin

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Hey Andrea,

Don't wait - you can still pre-reg!

You can do so either through the US rep, see pre-reg flyer here

or online here

Waiting to register during the week itself will be significantly more expensive - around 120euro. Pre-registration costs just 90euro, and helps us, the organisers plan the best possible convention.

Hope to see you there biggrin

you must have about 27 billion things to think about so no worries about the pm and thank-you for the updates here - they are well appreciated.

i'm planning on doing at least two workshops - will see what the schedule is like at the start of the week and go from there.

its really nice to see such a postive attitude towards poi at the ejc smile

Hello all preparing for big event lovelies wave

I'm looking at some very cheap flights to fly from Blackpool into Dublin about the 5th or 6th of July, a few days before EJC.

Would heart
a place to stay/someone to meet me/drag me off on a road trip with a bunch of hippies/show me the sights/
give me a job do to help get the event happening/
get me to EJC eventually!

Flights are stooopid cheap at the moment, so I'd love some quick invitations offers or suggestions!!! If there's someone wants to advise /pick me up from somewhere else that's fine too.. hands up Ireland!
biggrin

Which airline is that with?
I'm still trying to work out travel plans, but if I end up flying then I might as well take a flight with someone I know smile

I may try and fly on that one, because if me and Sina have to find our own way from the airport to the convention we'll probably end up living on the streets of Cork...

Holy crap.. at 18kg, the Ubertent will cost £99 plus £2.50 each way to take with me on a ryanair flight.

However, if I can package it up as a musical instrument, I can buy an extra seat for it, which would only cost £50.

Still, that's a hell of a lot for a tent - I'll have to see how much the rest of my kit weighs and how much we can split the tent up between the people who're going to be sleeping in it.

Well, I'm pre-regged. Gotta sort myself out a journey there now. Think I'll be grabbing the same flights as you guys. What return are you going for? May as well do the whole lot together smile

Edit: Also, how are you going from Cork to the EJC? By train? Seems like the best option to me but I thought I'd better check!

Hi Ma'tina,

Did you register online or through a rep?

If online, you should have received a confirmation email. If it was through a rep, you'll receive a confirmation letter, but this can take a while for the reps to process. Just let me know how you registered, and i can look into it for you in case there's any problem.

It looks like I'm going to be flying now, so I'll book a seat on the 15:15 flight - what's the flight number of the return flight you're booked onto? I might as well book onto the same one for that half of the journey too.
