For EJC Ireland 2006, we have secured the use of the largest indoor

hall in Ireland, with plenty of fields for tents, camping and fun, all

on the same site. We realise that the dates are significantly earlier

than many of you were expecting, but if we held the EJC in August, as

in previous years, we would be unable to use a site of this quality.

Our priority is to deliver a great convention, and that is what we are

concentrating on doing!

Now added to the website :

Travel Information

Photos of the hall

Accommodation Options

Forums now added - arrange lifts to Millstreet, and chat about the EJC here!

Please direct any questions or comments to info@ejc2006.net

We look forward to seeing you all here!

Helen

Strugz....... Stop eating everyone! you're only allowed to eat all the spinners that are better than me......... hmm no thats wrong...... all the spinners are better than me. That would leave me no one to play with.... um.... you can eat all the spinners that do negative space stuff and think anti spin is natural biggrin That should pretty much wipe out all the long armed people..... hmm no that might kill off all the tall men..... Tall men are needed to get things off high shelves......nope you can't eat them.... hmmmm..... ok you can eat all the un-naturally talented small people that serve no other purpose than to freak me out with their abilities....... Yep those are the ones.... you can eat them *nods*

i'm going in a car with me mummy and daddy and probably princess hels (although i haven't told her that she has a lift if she wants it yet) and a bams only if we are very, very lucky (down to proper jobs and holiday allowances and all that)...

a spinner-based convoy sounds like a spiffing idea smile

the ferry from swansea to cork looks the most promising for us right now but the liverpool-dublin ferry is a possible too (its is a seriously long drive though!).

Yeah, Edinburgh was just south of York originally, but then scots decided they wanted it for themselves. So, in 1982, a whole load of them decended upon the city with shovels and carried it off.

Understandably, it's pretty slow going carrying a city and it took them 15 years to get it into place, just in time to host the 21st EJC in it's new location.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

You are correct, you arrive Sunday 9th and leave Sunday 16th smile This one does seem to be causing a bit of confusion, so we're updating our website to make it clearer.

You are actively encouraged to volunteer. No, it doesn't get you in free (i'm paying too) but cheap stuff (food, beer, hugs depending on work done wink ) will be arranged where possible to thank you smile
