For EJC Ireland 2006, we have secured the use of the largest indoor

hall in Ireland, with plenty of fields for tents, camping and fun, all

on the same site. We realise that the dates are significantly earlier

than many of you were expecting, but if we held the EJC in August, as

in previous years, we would be unable to use a site of this quality.

Our priority is to deliver a great convention, and that is what we are

concentrating on doing!

Now added to the website :

Travel Information

Photos of the hall

Accommodation Options

Forums now added - arrange lifts to Millstreet, and chat about the EJC here!

Please direct any questions or comments to info@ejc2006.net

We look forward to seeing you all here!

Strugz, as far as I know that should be ok, but probably best to phone Ryanair to find out. Unfotunately the only service line they have is the one that cost loads a bucks per second over here ... tis probably the same over there...

as i understand it a valid drivers licence/national ID card serves the purpose of passport when traveling inside EU. best check the date on your licence to make sure.

how did you manage to loose the passport?

Life is extremely frustrating.

I went down to Millstreet on Sunday night, to start on all of the work that needs to be done. Yesterday I woke up to a text from my dad to tell me that my grandfather had passed away during the night frown so it was straight back up to Dublin for me. He was 94, so it wasn't entirely unexpected, but obviously he will be much missed.

Now i'm stuck in Dublin waiting for my cousin to make it back from Bolivia for the funeral on Saturday. So i won't even make it back to the site til late Saturday night or Sunday.

Am so bored and frustrated, not to mention sad frown . I've been getting regular updates from Millstreet - phonecalls are pouring in from the locals about tickets for the big shows, following a radio interview that Lee and I did the other day, and a front page in a supplement of the Irish Examiner. One of the big tops went up yesterday, and another one is due to go up today. I can't believe that i've spent 2 years looking forward to this, and working on it, and now i don't get to see it all come together - and to help out the increasingly stressed and busy team.

It's great to check into this thread, and see all the energy and enthusiasm you lovely people have. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

hug

nah man - you said "your ticket's enough".

i always thought of passports as a form of i.d.
and they have a photo in them ubbidea

but nah, i guess you're right - passport isn't photo i.d.

hels, i propose strugz and i have a good ol' fashioned smoke off showdown devil

how to play:
each player brings rizla and green.
opponents sit opposite each other.
each player begins by skinning up.
players then pass their completed spliff to their opponent to smoke.
when opponent gets half way through smoking spliff, player starts skinning up again.
the smoke off continues until one of the players either passes out or can't smoke any more due to the sheer ridiculousness of the game.

it beats jelly wrestling any day wink

maybe have to save that one for another time...
