I got treated to a meal last night.
I chose the venison steak with red onion marmarlade. And it was gorgeous! The thought of eating a baby deer used to horrify me, but now i realise its just too tasty for words, much nicer than bovine meat!
Thumper's gonna get it next....

my girlfriend was a veggie at one stage , but she had to go back on meat , for health reasons. she ate just steak , now she's moved up to roasts and various others.

in a conversation it came up that she didnt want to eat any baby animals. so i said , i see , you'll be just eating like , beef, pork and lamb and stuff... (duuuuuhhhh)

I'm doing a project on destruction in art at the momant..we watched a video about destruction in art around the 60's.
A guy lay naked on the floor of a gallery, whilst another man hung a sheep above him, skinned it, and cut its guts out..which fell all on the man..

I've got a broad mind..but ask "I get where he's comming from..." (tooo long to explain) "...but was that really necessary?"

I have nothing against meat eaters..I don't eat becasue I don't like it, simple as.
The lecturer then asks the class to raise hands whos a vegetarian.
Aimée raises her hand - the only one in her class..
Lecturer then raises an eyebrow and ignores my question..

Roooood!

good ole simpsons, they have a quote for everything.

I eat meat coz i like it and its got health benefits. i dont eat fish coz i dont like it. I refuse to eat veal because of the way the calfs are treated but any other meat is fine, cept steak coz im not a great fan of anything thats still bleeding when i come to eat it, yuk.

I shall not rant.....you ikky ikky baby animal killers.

I've recently turned vegan (after 20yrs as a vegetarian) and I think I could only ever eat meat if I was living in the wild and it was a matter of life and death and I had to kill the animal myself. But each to their own.

See we vegans can behave, admittedly I can't speak for the other troops.....

hmmm... I like meat. I think the main 2 reasons I couldn't be a vegetarian are 1. I like meat and 2. I don't really like most vegetables, especially onions, and even if you eat meat it's hard enough to find dishes in restaurants or when cooking with friends that don't contain onions. As a vegetarian it's probably impossible.

I wouldn't eat goose though, for some reason I feel more sorry for them than for the other fluffy things.

In the countryside if the car infront kills a Phesant on the road the car behind gets too pick it up and cook it lol, yum.

Hmmmm meat I love all kinds of meat and animal! Duckys, geese, chicken, turkey, cows, pigs, lambs *baaaah*, quale, venison, game bird especialy (advantage of being raised on farms, you eat just about every animal alive at one point).

Has anyone tried foie gras? Been dying to try that, ive been told its deliciouse.

foie gras is disgusting! i tried it once after being told it was 'delicious' and nearly threw up! tho i guess if you like pate itll be ok.

speaking of roadkill, theres a man in cornwall who eats *only* meat he finds on the side of the road. He hasnt bought meat in 30 years. He has the usual rabbits, pheasants, in his freezer but also has blackbirds, badgers and foxes. He is perfectly healthy and apparently its all really nice and safe.

odd people in cornwall!
