Well, 3 days and counting, and I can't see I'm going to have much time to check back in here so thought I'd get my farewells in early
I'm sad to be leaving so many lovely people behind for a year, but then I'm also happy and looking forward to meeting so many more of you (hopefully)
In all honesty, I couldn't think of a better year to leave after.
Huge thanks must go to Dunc and the rest of the Play team for their amazing weekend, and to all those who came and made it soooo good - looking forward to Play 3
Huge thanks also to Mags and the Falmouth team for exactly the same reason - hopefully see you at Falmouth 7-ish
Those weekends were personal highlights for me for this year and everytime I look back on them I smile. In my 5 years of spinning (and nearly 5 years of HoP!) this year has just had some awesome times. I've learnt a hell of a lot, met a hell of a lot of wonderful people and generally had a blinding time

Hopefully I'll come back wiser, more tanned and with a spinning Mrs Durbs to bring to all the meetings in 2007 (I'll settle for 2 out of 3)
As they say - the best part of going away is coming back.
This probably isn't true - but it's a nice sentiment
