In all seriousness.

I think I'm addicted. In a bad way. Its no good. No good at all.

As of after half term, I will no longer be allowed to acces this website from a school computer. THis is because I spend *far* too much time on here, and not enough time working. As a result, I'm failing horribly in my physics AS level course, something that I can no longer afford to do.

So I'll only be on weekends.

Cold turkey anyone? wink

physics AS is overrated tongue

At GCSE they teach you one thing, then for some stuff at AS they give you the 'well...that's not strictly true' treatment so it's totally fubared biggrin

But yeah, I think AS physics, among other subjects should take higher priority over HoP...it IS the start of the rest of your life after all...

Just some advice cos I didn't do too great at AS/A Level and now I'm regretting it frown

Physics is indeed a totally lame choice. I only did it cos the GCSE was a piece of *piss*.

Want to know what internal resistence is, or how to work out resistivity?

No?

Me neither frown

I got an A.

A very misleading A. [censored] of an A to be honest.

FRD: Hey, I did good! lets do physics!
Mum: You sure? Shouldn't you do somethnig that you're very talented at? Like drama, or IT?
FRD: *rollseyes* Oh yes, please let me into uni, I did Drama? No thank you. I'll go with physics.

God damn it why is she always right? Huh? Why why why!? It isn't fair.

Now she's all smug about it.

Bah! Should've done IT...

My physics teacher was an ass who made me do about 50 very similar but subtley different experiments once a week using a 1m length of wire to find resistivity and IR which sucked majorly.

His hero was Faraday... 'nuff said ubblol

Maybe we need some sort of therapy to get us off it?!?!

I quite like physics... I thought I'd hate it up until I finally started taking the course, now I enjoy it, even though I'm not the best at it. Wrote a test on it today as it were. Unfortunately, the stuff in physics I really want to learn, I can't until next year... frown I suppose any subject can be good, if you have a great teacher, and I love my physics teacher! He's really awesome.

What kind of physics do you learn over there at that level? I'm just curious...

Well... good luck FRD!

Hohum.

There's no such thing as just "acid"... I don't think so anyways.

You jsut get different types of acid. Hydrochloric acid (HCl), Sodium Chloride (H2S04)

I think... I'm not sure. I think I failed chemistry pretty badly.

offtopic wink

Ahh good old Sodium Chloride, H2SO4.

ubblol confused

Clearly. NaCl = sodium chloride. H2SO4 = sulphuric acid.

Yea, who would want to juggle? It's not like it increases ones brain power, or is helpful in any way.

S'not cuel. Tis constructive. I try to be pedantic about what I type. But sometimes something slips my notice. Like above for example.
