Posted:I just got a new laptop today as my old one broke, and I accidently set the keyboard on the wrong setting. This means that the symbols on some of the keys are in a different order to the ones when i type. I've spent ages trying to find the setting that will turn it back with no luck, so could someone please, please tell me where it is? thanks!

Posted:please say what hardware and software you have when asking about computer problems!

Taking a wild guess, i'd say you're on Windows XP. If that is the case then you'll want to go to control panel > regional and language options > languages > detials > click on add > find English UK > add it and remove anything else you have in the list.

I'm doing this from memory so if it's not right play about a bit or ask again and i'll find a windows PC to work it out on.

Good luck

Posted:No worries!

In OS X and every other windows it's really easy to find, but for some reason MS thought hiding it in XP would be fun....

oh well!
