just wondering if there's any london knitters, or potential knitters out there.

i was supposed to be doing some at spitz last wekk, but unsurprisingly i forgot and spent the evening in a drug fuelled stupor!

just in case you didn't realise...

1. knitting IS cool - yes i know most of you aren't worried about being cool (ha ha) but despite this, you stil might enjoy it. as an example, i made a really nice gothy jumper that only took a day to knit & cost me about £3. so there.

2. yes. boys can knit too.

so if anyone thinks it'll be worth my while then just pm me. if not then i'm condemned to being that weird girl on the bus frown

I had a dream that my friend had a
strong-bad pop up book,
it was the book of my dreams.

very cool hats! and i'm sure you will still get to wear them, considering it's not quite managed to be summer yet...

How did you do the brim? i need a summer hat to prevent sunburn, so brim info would be useful smile

I've been busy too, made a skirt this weekend, but still need to weave in the ends, which is something that very rarely ever happens *has mittens with tails, hat with tails, headband with tails.... can't tuck them in on a skirt though...*

they're easy joe, just keep knitting.

miss Tao_Star, can i pretty please have the pattern for your chunkey jumper? i wanna try a jumper, but i get impatient with things that take too long to make tongue

i've got better with my two stitches now, i like making little things like head scarves and wristbands and headbands...

i just was thinking last night i was going to make a big pointy hat by knitting a really long triangle, and then i saw star's pixie hats, i'm gonna make one like that and put a big pompom on the end, in all sorts of stupidly bright colours... it's gonna be awesome.

i can sorta do a crusty crochet now. just a single at the moment, ima work on double crocheting later. How does the continual slip stich work?

RE: pixie hats. Do you go from the pointy end bigger, or the fat end down? I guess it would be easier to go from the pointy end, wouldn't it?
