If there is anything you want to shout from the rooftops but dont have a ladder, then this is for YOU! (plus it is a lot safer than climbing on top of a building)

Of course you will. You are learning faster than I did. The speed at which new spinners are picking things up is sickening sometimes. wink

(Also, he is not working a 9-5 job. Or was not for most of his first year of poi.)

Also, you are probably better than you think. At least if your view of my spinning ability is correct. tongue2

don't be sad, just know that if you want to, and if you're willing to put in the effort, you will learn to be an amazing spinner with a style all your own, and that's what matters.

that's what I tell myself every time I see Yuta spin, anyway.

It's too sunny outside to be stuck in the office! I want to be on my slackline!

If i had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isnt. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldnt be. And what it wouldnt be, it would. You see?

So glad it is finally nice enough outside to go practice. I am in dire need to go relieve some stress. Hopefully it does not rain within the next two days so the ground can firm up some more before I can get out.

Oh, I know what that's like smile The only thing you can do is accept it and move on... I've had to accept that I love people who generally aren't good for me, that I give my heart away faaaar to easily and that I'm relationship-retarded. Once you accept it, life actually becomes easier and the relationships are easier to deal with smile

Good luck smile x

Rediscovering my flowlights rig, and with it the oddness of spinning without tosses. Turns out I did miss orbitals a little. Maybe I get a new color this week...

Why no tosses with flowlights?

got Sol and have Nebula waiting for me at home, I'll let you know what I think in a short while!

although I find it hard to believe any flowlight could top Sol, they are really beautiful... just plain classy. none of the videos I've seen do them justice.

edit: ok I've played with my Nebulas a bit and here's what I think: Sols are very classy and beautiful, Nebulas are colorful and flashy. if flowlights were people at a party, Sol would be the refined gentleman in a tuxedo and Nebula would be the hippie chick with a flair for color and an impeccable sense of style. they're both awesome but for very different reasons.

hopefully that helps you decide. or be like me and get both... hehe

Well obviously there's nothing intrinsically antagonistic to throws about flowlights tongue2 My experimental flowlight-handled rig broke at a show at the end of last year, so what i have left is my single loop cords.

I ended up going with Nebula this time since i think it'd complement spirit (my favorite), but Sol is still probably next. I know it's kind of "boring", but I also liked Air; sometimes the fun of a color is in what you can pair it with.

that's true, I started hooking flowlights together and it's so much fun I had to get a pair of duo tubes to play with. wish I had air, but it sounds like they won't be available until winter 2011, too bad.

I think nebula would go great with spirit... definitely. I'm gonna try that out now in fact!

Posts on flowtoys FB page suggest they were considering all white for the new air flowlights, but they haven't afaik made an outright statement.

Ooh I hope so. I was thinking of ordering all white as a custom job, so that'd take care of that...
