Im looking to buy a long staff, though I'm unsure as to how long/tall they are supposed to be in relation to your height. Does it matter too much? or is it a personal preference thing?

It can be persoal preference.
It can be up to your shoudler.
It can ever be the same height as you.

Find one.. then play with it. Then finder a longer and a shorter staff and see which one ou prefer. smile

a good height is your heart chakra.
to find the height of your heart chakra, stand your perfectly dimensioned staff next to your body, it should reach up to your heart chakra.
confused? then don't read Hunter S. Thompson or road maps.
It won't help.

wrong. all wrong.

There is a very simple equation that can be used to calculate your staff size. I taught it to strugz and he uses every time.

okay.

ready?

times the length of your left index fingers fingernail by the width of your big toe, minus this from the overall cascadal mirometer, then divide by 3.144444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444 r

thus giving you the fractional minus three dimension, now simply just x this by m=3z plus y=56-3 and there you have it your very own staff length.

see it has nothing to do what so ever with you height, or your shoulder. According to this equation, my staff should be 1.4 metres! just right as it happens! wink

passing through, this world still lives.

Jon...that sounds like a recipe to find your ideal sexual partner

My staff is big and very heavy wink
1.55m and the heaviest I've felt ubblol

A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

i think he's taken it out now after many injuries

i like my contact staff which is 6ft and has full length innercore, it is a couple of inches shorter than me and i generally good but can occasionally be ever so slightly long, tho it does help that the ifre is further awya and u can add extra wickes with ease
