Hey ive jsut started Staffing and i was just wondering if there was any meet ups in Derbyshire like Sheffield or Derby. Im all alone learning on my own and although the loverly video lessons are good i dont wanna pick up bad habit techiniques because ive learnt by myself. So yeh. Is there anyone out there?
Im 17 which seems wierd cause im sure all you guys are like older and in uni etc i feel so young. Erm live in Derbyshire obviously so can get most places by bus and train around there for the day.
Any meets going off?

I suppose Sheffields good. I'd like to get to know some people who are into all this stuff so i could take a day trip out. Anyone from Sheffield that i could meet up with have a sourt of gathering. I wouldnt wanna pull some one person out just to teach me how to the basics properly sounds a bit crap for the teacher. Anyone?

Im taking your meaning 29-30th of October which is a complete bugger cause i cant make that weekend. Bugger. Duke of Edingborough Gold practise. if only it was the weekend before i coudl make it. I'll try and come to to the next one thanks for the offer.

Why wouldnt i do a do D of E Gold. Its fun and as i camp out and walk alot i dont find it hard at all so mite aswell get the certificate which is the equivilent to a GCSE 'apparently'.
Not sure how far away Sheffield is from London. Pink and Lolli, and Solace, and One Wheel Dave, and Mech will probably know?

Sheffield is 4 hours by Coach from London.
Or about 3 - 3.5 by train.
Not TOO far.
But tell you what, i'll see what weekends i'm free (quite busy recently... ) if you want to come up for a spin? I'm in Nottingham this weekend, and hope to be in London for the LJC, and Leeds for the Leeds JC, but i don't think i have too much esle planned the next 2 months.

Anyone able to meet up this weekend 22nd 23rd?
Soz i didnt reply couldnt make this weekend. Had a Peak Assault Walking compertition which went crap. Ive ripped/strained no idea which, my groin muscles sounds so imbarrasing.
Anyway anyone free for this weekend erm Nottingham? Sheffield?
