Could be it, we all need to cry sometimes, even tough men like me biggrin . It was quite embarrassing last time I broke down... it was on my Girlfriend, very shortly after we'd started dating. I was so scared that's she'd think "Weirdo" and run off.

I'm really glad that you had someone to cry on though... there's nothing worse than being alone *and* crying your eyes out.

hug

Try not to absorb *everyone's* problems, I'm terrible for doing that, sometimes I get a lot more upset about other people than I do about me, even if worse things are hapening to me! What can I say, I absorb negative emotions... shrug

After much consideration, I find that the view is worth the asphyxiation.

Which is why you should only look after number 1.

I do, and I'm never unhappy.

Well firstly, you're not weak for crying. As REM once said, Everybody Hurts, and hug big hugs. I'm on pills to hopefully stop me from crying, it sucks alot!! I will gladly be your personal crying buddy, I advise those tissues with the balm on them, otherwise you get a red crusty nose, and then not only are you crying, but you're in pain too!! ouch!! love jo x

Sometimes crying happens. And you are very lucky to have had someone there for you. I've almost never had anyone happen to be about when I cry- and the few times its happened they've generally not been supportive either.....

So you never did anything for your family or friends? How the hell does that work?

And don't go pretending you don't have emotions just in case it makes other people uncomforatble. If you need to, shout, scream, throw things (preferably cusions rather than vases), let everything out and then feel purged after.

I find it helps to write stuff down; if someone has affected me I write them a letter telling them exactly why, and how I feel. Never, ever, post it though.

There is a slight possibility that I am not actually right all of the time.

awwwww thank you all....., i don't feel as bad now having talked to some close friends and people on here, all who have been suppotive and understanding. still.........there are just some people you don't discuss things like this to, mainly out of male pride, but also, that they just may not fully understand how powerfull emotions can be sometimes.

better out than in.

i now totally believe that your mind is what you make it. Stop drinking, taking drugs, smoking weed, all that stuff can bring you down like a tonne of bricks. Honestly, start thinking more positive, don't moan about stuff.

it's like with bereavement. At the end of the day, that person's dead and your tears amount to nothing. You've just got to get over it and get on with it. And with something like depression, it's up to you to plough on through whatever brick wall is in your way, because usually it's all in your head, when you take a step back.

Matey,
I reckon that about 80% of the people on this site will post a thread where they are deeply upset/ need sympathy/ need a rant.
I have done it on more than 3 occasions.
For each probably.... umm
Its great having somewhere where all your friends, and people who dont even know you, can all help you and make you feel fantastic. Thats one of the reasons that HOP kicks bum.

I'm really alone here tho, and i think thats part of it.

But I can't stop being upset/sad about just nearly everything...... ubbcrying
