A friend of mine sent me this riddle and I am stumped:
People say you can tell nothing from my face.
I sound like I am useful in a fire.
I have connections to Royalty
People get undressed around me
If you can help me with the answer to that one, try this one:
"The beginning of eternity
The end of time and space
The beginning of every end,
And the end of every place."
It was a day for screaming at inanimate objects.
What this calls for is a special mix of psychology and extreme violence...

e. e. cummings is a fantastic American poet whom I hate. Mostly, if not solely, because I was forced to read his work in school and reflect upon it. He always does interesting things with punctuation and capitalization within his poetry even so much as NOT capitolizing his name ever... I found him to be a bit too excentric but honetsly, I'm wrong. He's one of those guys who I know is brilliant but I just don't like his stuff... I also hate Frank Lloyd Wright and Roy Lichtenstein which I'm also wrong in disliking...
Here is some of e. e. cummings poetry ... note the use/misuse of margin and punctuation. Brilliant. I hate it.

Scroll down and read "the sky was"... that's more typical brilliant cummings crap with the broken words and flowing grammar and puntuation.
I also hate Steinbeck and Ansel Adams. Maybe just all famous 1900's American artists.
OK, back to riddles now: I've got a bunch but it's past my bed time so I'm off to sleep.

Prometheus' is a good one and I would be nit-picking if I said that it wasn't Homer's, rather Homer was asked this by a couple of flea-ridden boys. The story goes that the fish weren't biting, so they started to catch their lice.

I suspect it's right either way:
the z instead of s, the s instead of c, the v instead of s, the f instead of v and the fith fault is that there's only 4 faults so therefore that's a fault!!
Or there's only 4 faults and therefore the statement is wrong - but I argue for it as the 5th fault.
Prometheus' letter though has got me temporarily bamboozled...
