A friend of mine sent me this riddle and I am stumped:

People say you can tell nothing from my face.
I sound like I am useful in a fire.
I have connections to Royalty
People get undressed around me

If you can help me with the answer to that one, try this one:

"The beginning of eternity
The end of time and space
The beginning of every end,
And the end of every place."

It was a day for screaming at inanimate objects.

What this calls for is a special mix of psychology and extreme violence...

Nice one C@ntus. I was thinking the answer was actually mortal death. Perhaps indicative of my mood today or something..

The first riddle is very tricky. can't figure it out.

Perhaps something to do with poker?

As in:
1) poker face
2) poker, as in a fire poker
3) king, queen, jack
4) ??? can't think on this one? something w/a suit, perhaps?

Just my 2 cents...

My wild guess is a rake.

Do I at least get a lousy copy of the "home version"?

Here are two that I've come across before:

walks on four legs in the morning,
Two during the day,
And three in the evening?

"Is" is not "not."
"Not" is "not."
"Is" is "is."
"Is not" is not, is it not?

It most certainly is.

You could do it without the quotes but it's tougher to understand when reading. There are a few variations you could do as well in terms of commas and such but this is the first one that I could think of...

That was fun! Thanks!

Well, shall we go?

woman without her man, is nothing!

Hehe

or

Woman, without her, man is nothing!!

I prefer the first one

Shouldn't it be a colon?

Woman: Without her, man is nothing.

The comma don't make no kinda sense...

-NYC, the grammar geek (but only on grammar geek questions!)

Personally I like "Woman without Herman is nothing"
