The only downside to working at a renfaire all the time is the nasty mean people who also run booths there, and have prettyful things to buy. My newest addition to my collection of toys are 3 juggling balls with a chainmail covering. It gives them a very nice heavy weight for their size which makes them absolutely lovely to juggle with.
I bought the set of 3 for $30 CAD.

These are the nasty mean people who convinced me I needed juggling balls instead of food this week ^.^'
Anyways, I just wanted to share my new toy with everyone, I did a search and found not much discussion re: chainmail and toys here so I figured we could throw around ideas in here.

Is it Fair to all concerned?
Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

Careful buying maille balls off ebay.. And definatly stay away from aluminum maille balls, it's too weak to stand up to much abuse unless you get up into like 14-12g wire.

Stainless is the way to go most definatly, or if you want lighter you can go with Titanium, either way it would only cost you a couple bucks in material to actually make them yourself wink

Heh, food is overrated I agree :P
And my balls are stainless incase anyone was wondering. I agree re: Lurch and the aluminum balls though, they would't last a week of juggling.

Hey ImmortalAngel,

Which ones do you work usually?

I am a big time medieval buff, love going to those things and doing demos there.
