have been trying to work this one out but different people seem to have different ideas on how it should be done

1 theory is both poi spin the same way and the arms are always opposite each other moving in the same direction

the other is the poi are split time and the arms move in opposite circles so they are split on the horizontals and together on the verticals

anyone know which is correct?

please help i really wanna learn

You really should do a search.

both are correct.

Arms and poi spinning the same way are regular flowers.

Arms and poi spinning differnt directions are anti spin flowers.

Sounds like the second one is a butterfly flower, not anti-spin... But yes, you can do flowers many ways.

there doesn't exist just one correct form of flowers!

you can do them in anti spin or the regular ones, but wheather you do them with one poi forward, arm forward, the other one backwards, arm backward too - how I like to do them - or in an anti spin: poi forward, arm backward in a big circle.....
.....now its up to you how many circle-points you wanna make during your flower!
you can do three point anti-spin flowers, which I like a lot, or four point, five.....up to you ....everything is possible...!

or just do the regular ones for the beginning, both arms forward, split time, poi forwards!

after a while you can try to extend your arms from a 3bt weave into a flower ...etc......

have fun,

tina

just do whatever you think feels good and looks pretty - with glowballs or fire they'll all look flowery! biggrin

that sounds about right cheers 1 = regular flowers
2 = butterfly flowers
i didn't explain very well but know what i was saying wasn't antispin as i've seen both techniques done with normal and antispin.

I thought it was useful. I have seen both ways, and was wondering if I was doing it right too biggrin
Although I tend to make up my own crap anyway lol

But on the other hand, you have different fingers
