In case anyone is stuck and needs more info, a snap train strike was called today in Queensland:

https://www.corporate.qr.com.au/Corporate/News_Room/Current/emergency_bulletins/default.asp

Bus details can be found here:

https://jp.transinfo.qld.gov.au/

I am investigating which line you will need (one of the North ones), but the website is going very slow right now. I suspect there are a lot of people making alternative arrangements!!!

It was a day for screaming at inanimate objects.

Okay, what you will probably need is route 390, which goes from Brisbane central to Gaythorne Station, through Enoggera:

https://www.translink.com.au/qt/TransLin.nsf/ReferenceLookup/BTRoute-390.pdf/$file/BTRoute-390.pdf

(Please keep in mind that I live in Sydney, and am posting this based on "info from the web". There may be local-yokels wink with better knowledge than than the sydney-ite so you may want to treat this as a starting point. Best advice: talk to strangers, to get directions)

If anyone is in the Brisbane CBD, and they don’t want to go to the Roma St Transit Centre. Than an alternative, is to take bus 39 (route 390 city to Mitchelton) from Adelaide St, opposite David Jones.

Cheers smile

Hope youre all having a great time.
Love to be with you but NZ calls and its a language I understand, not like all that wibbling, anti-spin, atom (mis)guided, mayhem you speak.
Respect to the Bluey, Spheculist, Loki and Canadian crew. Say hi to Dom too (only found out he was going/coming today - you gonna have a blast and send Poi and Staff into the strato-sphere and I here in NZ playing dress up Red Polka for the show on Sunday me-thinks, I may have persuaded my new flat mate (yes he owns the flat!!) to guest star in the dress with me red top-er for an ensemble piece, not sure wether the red-bikini's coming out - but heh if that what the public want!?!.........
or is that them running screaming for the police?
Does any one know what im talking about - answers on a police car please to: what is the address in this place anyway!!!??
Love and boundary pushing vibes

Well wow what a great first day, train strike or not!
IF anyone is impulse coming, that is still possible.. we are not online at the venue though so just turn up and ask to speak to Gabe or any of the other jolly greeters! If there is no one at the scout hall, just walk down the driveway next to it to the Rec Centre at the back of the school. All good!
I'm going back there now to watch the pretty flames!
