Whos been watching this gripping series between England and Australia?

I hated cricket for years but got into it properly a couple of summers ago and have loved the game ever since. This years ashes has been the most exciting competition I've watched so far and I was a bit suprised to not have seen any threads on it considering the large Aussie and English membership.

So, can England hold on for the win? Will Australia pull something out of the bag to get them back?

Your thoughts ladies and gents smile

The Aussies are bowling negatively and are nursing injuries. Ohhh this is looking sooo good biggrin

Bring on Day three so we can have a bash at bowling Australia out (and hopefully bowling in a straight line).

Interesting to see that all the poms got on the bandwagon of a series you were winning tongue

As far as I can tell Pietersen, Flintoff and maybe Collingwood are the the only batsmen that look at all dangerous, Bell il be a bunny.

Fredy's also looked the most dangerous with the ball damn him wink. still can't understand why they're persisting with Giles, give Pannasar a go, even if just for the amusement of aussie spectators.

think we need to drop 1 or 2 of the dads army, Martyns a bit sus, and Hayden hasn't done any good since releasing that bloody cookbook, geez.

As for whether the English will win it, remind me - how many UK originating players are there? tongue Jones you traitor, apparently he tried to take up juggle but couldn't catch the balls ubblol

Well it obviously got no better! Looks like Australia should comfortably pass our total now, even though we've just taken couple of quick wickets.

No one can collapse in style like England can, that's for sure!

It's all part of us setting it to be the Greatest Ever Ashes Series MkII, just watch us come back in the next test and....well, probably collapse again! ubblol

Absolute massive win for Oz, well done guys. England will be in tatters mentally, I hope we can come back ok at Perth. At least this test finally had a bit of excitement in it after it looked to be slowly meandering towards a draw.

Bring on Perth! smile

Oh [censored].

Well done Miss Rouge, you have won the battle (but not the ashes (yet).

Where oh where was Monty Panesar? Warne made the difference, and Anderson ( who took the place that should have been Panesar's) scored 1 run and got one wicket. Seeing what a difference an attacking spinner made, its fair to say that that one selection difference probably lost us the test.

Bring on Perth and Panesar biggrin
