Stupid question, and it's bad enough I'm a newbie to this site.... not to spinning, however, back to my stupid question... The length of the staff obviously has an effect upon the type of tricks you can do, can you do the crazy tricks Bender does in his Joy of Staff vid? Is it possible to do crazy crap like that with two 5ft staves? or has no one tried?

The impossible is the name we give something until someone gest bored, goes ahead and does it.
The simple flips on that video do not interfere with the physical space of the sticks, flips -particularly sideways flips- when executed with care can allow space for larger toys.
i like shorter staves primarily becuase i am a big big fan of btl movements.
