After Immence pressure from liquid_bubblegum this is now the thread for the Liverpool meets the first of which;
1st October 2005 @ 2 o'clock, meeting at Lime Street Station and then moving over to the pierhead for some nice dockside spinning.
Hopefully followed by a drink and a dance at the Krazyhouse.
So who's there?????

OK, for those of us who don't live around Sefton Park, what are the ways of getting there? I know there is the 699 but you only get one every hour on a Sunday!

Good job were going on a friday then!
could get 699, or 86 (every few mins even on a sunday) from town (bus stop by st johns and big steps), get off 2 stops after asda (outside cafe called ginger) cross road and go down greenbank road (i think its that! theres 2 roads on a fork,i ts the left road, not ullet road) keep walking for 5 mins past greebank park, past a big tower block and u get to sefton park, biiiig field, lots of room for spinny goodness
ill be there just after 530,meeting friends 1st.

It takes less than 15mins to run there from London Road...altho I haven't tried that yet with all my toys, they might slow one down a tad
5:30 sounds good to me. By the way, I was spinning on that field the other day and a bloke came over and warned us that if we were caught by someone from the council they could sew us and do all sorts of boring things to us.....I guess we'll just have to push our luck

Me and Catt checked out the Liverpool Cathedral next to the Liverpool Uni Student Guild on our way down to Sefton Park last Sunday. There is actually a massive courtyard tuck nicely out of the way. Should do a meet up there next time and see how it goes.
