Hi! Does anyone have recommendations for sellers of sock poi? Perdy's are beautiful (https://www.perdy.net/products.php?cat=12&PHPSESSID=0bcc94f0df77d1f2e6d84df3a2163ebe) but I just wondered if anyone had anyone else they love? I may well end up making them but I thought I'd see who was selling them before I drag out the sewing machine! Thanks.

I have a pair from the Te Pooka stall at Glasto, made by Meg, or M.C.P. on this here forum. You might want to try giving her a PM. They're the orange (non-fluffy) ones I spin with, if you happen to remember them. They're only a few months old but they're holding up well so far! They were cheaper than Perdy's at Glasto.

Hmmm... just wondering, wouldn't a homemade pair be just as good? (after the socks have been stretched etc)

Do you want a 3.5mt hoop in 25mm pipe. I have 32mm pipe too. They are much heavier but that means the move more slowly giving you more time to get moves.

At the moment I'm doing all sizes of hoop and pipe width for £15 fabric covered and £12 tape covered. If you want something out of the ordinary just shout and I'll see what I can do. biggrin

Stars was 25mm pipe and I think she made them about 3.5mts

P&P is going to be a problem as I'm not sure I can get them in the post. What big meet are you next going to? Will you be at the BJC? I'm there for the last weekend and could bring it along for you if you are.

I will be making taped collapsable ones once I source some good in out connectorlike thingies and bungee cord. They will be easier to post but cost more because of the extra parts.
