And on ANOTHER happy note, I got paid today biggrin

I think God has taken a shine to me.

See some of you at PLAY!

weavesmiley hug

Ha.

Ha.

Ha.

God hates me.

Setting off this morning, I got to the edge of town, happily driving to PLAY, then guess what?

My universal steering joint broke.

As far as my mechanic makes out, it's the bit that joins the steering column to the axle. Worse, he doesn't have the part in stock and it'll take a day or two to arrive. Then half a day to fit. Looks like I'm not coming to PLAY.

*SHAKES FIST AT SKY*

"WHY!??!!?!?! WHY?!?!?!??!!??!!!"

What was going to be the best 3 days of this year so far have been ruined! ARRRGGHHH!!!

Sorry if this is entirely self absorbed, but my God do I hate you right now... angry angry angry

After much consideration, I find that the view is worth the asphyxiation.

Cabs? trains? family? There must be a way surely. (BTW I really feel sorry that this has happened to you but I think calling god a sadist is a bit strong IMO- i'm not religious but members of the board might find that offensive)

ATB getting to PLAY- if I ever finish this bloody essay I'll see you there smile

Sorry, not my intent to offend anyone, I'm just not having a good day.

Cab? It's about 150 miles away.

Trains cost about £70 if you travel on the day. It's already costing me somewhere near £100 to get the car fixed. I'm a student btw... so I can't really afford that.

Family, only my mother has a car, and she won't drive that far, just to drop me off.

There isn't any way I can get to PLAY without incurring monstrous expenses.

Thanks for the suggestions though, I've tried everything I can think of.

*Still seething*

No, looks like I'm well and truly up the brown creek without so much as a paddle shaped thing...

Hope everyone at PLAY has fun.

I doubt you will ever see me use the abreviation OMG. I despise it, and all other such horrible things.

As for post whoreing, I wasnt.

I was merely being reminded by Mr Sethis about his extremley annoying board which says: You just lost

A joke, no?

Now run along and post on your game threads wink

Have you tried teleportation? It can be a little inaccurate, but if it'll get you there I'm sure you wouldn't mind hiking a few extra miles.
