Hi All U Groovy Spinners out there in e-land,

Announcing a series of mini-one-day juggling and spinning conventions throughout the Autumn in Nottingham.

The first one (9th Oct) is going to be a poi and staff spinning special.
With Te-Pooka and special guests from London running a series of master class workshops from begginers to Uber-Spinning Super Advanced.

NAME: TRIBE OF FUN-DANGO (emphasis on having fun).
DATES: 9 Oct, 13 Nov, 11 Dec (all sundays)
TIMES: 11am-11pm
PLACE: Nottingham University Students Union
SPACE: The Beautiful Big Ballroom and 2 workshop rooms - E and W concourse lounge (same place as the one dayer last March).
COST: donations up to £5 - pay what you can afford - be honest (this is to pay for w/shop leaders travel costs)
WORKSHOPS: begginers to advanced and very advanced. Workshop leader volunteers welcome.
AIM: to capture the essence of Bristol Juggling Convention in one long day.
PLAN: Workshops during the day, games and vidoes and music in the evening. Possibly an impromptu show. and many silliness
REQUEST: Please pass details around to any other juggling groups you know who might be interested.

They are called mini-one-dayers because we are only organising:
1) at least 6 workshops based on a theme each time. Other w/shops organised on day.Predict there will at least be 20 in all.
2) video projections and/or music in the evening.
3) some group activities and/or games.

The rest will be organised on the day. So its a bit more relaxed than normal.

More details to follow. Contact details below.

Thank you to everyone that organised, helped, and played. I had a great weekend and have finally got home safe and sound.

Firstly big thanks to Scott and G for homing me for the weekend. You are perfect hosts hug You have a very nice wardrobe biggrin Without you putting me up I wouldn't have been able to come and have all the fun I did hug

Secondly thank you Peachi for organising the Sunday fun. hug please thank everyone else involved in working behind the scenes. I had a fantabulously fun day!

The third thanks goes to everyone I met at the weekend. You were all great fun to be around. Spinning, Hooping, tightrope walking, dancing, singing, generally being silly wouldn't have been half as much fun without you all.

Pink, you are wonderful hug
Mech, you bruised my bum!...... (I would explain that but it would only sound even more dodgy than that sentence on its own) biggrin
Lauz keep on hooping and you H
Drew thanks for the wiggling lesson and letting me borrow your hoop on sunday ubblol (pssst I know it was about more than wiggling tongue )
To the lady that lent me shoes to tightrope walk in, Thank you. Sorry I forgot your name.... I'm such a sievehead. I really enjoyed rope walking.
Jen, sorry about the boot in the head. Ro made me do it, honest biggrin
Ros thanks for the inspiration
Tim (even though you're not a member here someone might tell you this message) thanks for the hooping fun on sunday.

Ok I'm sure there are others but I need sleep before I remember.

Also sorry to anybody I overly abused in my workshops: Fluffy, dub and sandy... redface

Hope you learned something anyway, and I'll go a bit slower next time...

Pea-cheese! Would love some battlestar gallactica action! PM me? Thanks again for letting us stay up late in your house.

Saturday night was one of the best spins I've had in a long while, a lot of poncing about and posey stick...

Hi Guys!

Huge thanks to everyone who turned up and made this weekend as brilliant as it was grouphug
My apologies for the weather on Saturday, I did book some good weather for that day but my order must have gotten mixed so I will have to have some words!
Thanks to Peachi for organising the whole thing and for providing some wicked music and a place to spin on Saturday night biggrin
Thanks to Skully for the beautiful hoop biggrin I promise I'll learn how to use it.

So, a few things got left at my house over the weekend:-
Havokist - Your sleeping bag is here but I will hopefully be sending it with Laura to Manchester this weekend.
Mech - Your sleeping bag I have found and will return to you on Friday.
Beth - I have your sleeping bag as well
Pink - Your hat is here but I will give it to Mech so he can bring it back for you.
Skully - I think Scott said you left your hoop :O

Sorry Will, I haven't seen your poi. I will ask around to see if anyone has picked them up accidentally.
There is one other thing I have at my house so if you think you've left something I haven't mentioned let me know.

Hope to see you all again soon for a huge grouphug
