I remember not so long ago when all salt and vinigar flavoure crisps where in blue packets, and horrible cheese and evil onion where all in green packets. Why the hell change this?

Green = Vegatable = Onion = Cheese and Onion

Blue = Sea = Salt = Salt and Viniagar

I was horrified because salt and vinigar has allways been my favoruite flavour of crisps, and I used to pick up the blue packets open them and find they where cheese and onion nooooo!

I think it's only Walkers who do this, isn't it?

Every other packet of salt and vinegar I've had has been blue...

Maybe you just wanna look at what you're buying now and again... wink

*oooh, waits for some savage remarks to be thrown at Lemonkey for above comment*

Like all major brands they're the leaders in their market.

When Walkers changed from blue to green, so did safeways, somerfields and tescos ( i think but dont quote me)

When Fairy brought out its new 'space-ship' looking washing-up liquid bottle, Londis, Davids and other such 'Local' shops changed there design to look similar.

Its all about how we view a product. If it looks like the leading brand, ' it cant be all bad'.

Times change i guess, and we mourn the loss of our youth and the times where 'it was better in my day'.

I remember not so long ago......

It was years and years and years ago that walkers used blue packets for Salt and Vinegar flavour.

You should be used to it by now!!

The Lady has a point Brit_Joe.

I just guess you'll have to accept the change.

I know how you feel as it wasnt so easy saying Cif instead of Jif. But we all had to come round in the end, otherwise we couldnt move forward with our lives.

Just let it go mate, stand back, accept the change, and just eat monster-munch instead.

In the adverts, did they not claim that Europeans had trouble saying Jif, and said "Juw-if", "Gif" "Jeef"? We Brits should have pronounced it "Kif" instead of actual "Ssif", then they wouldn't have known what to do...
