Well, next weeks (the last in the series) episode is a Desmond-centric episode, so my money's on him.

Maybe it's Alvar Hanso...

Should be a cracker either way.

watched the catch up last night as i missed it during the week and near the end where hurleys been tasked with looking after all the food. he dosen't want this task ans it reminds him of his wealth and how everyone wants a piece of it. so he decides to blow the food up to save all the hurt and kaos it will cause...................he tells jack his plan and is told " yeah.......go for it"

but instead of destroying all the food he gives everyone what they asked for even though it way only be one thing each it was just a really nice moment for me

not according to all the episode guides will.

and there's no indication that its a two-hour job.

don't forget, technically, there were only 23 episodes in the first season too sincve the pilot was a double episode.

yep - all we know is what we saw in the pilot episode(s).

the crash was preceded by some slight turbulance and then a massive drop in altitude (which is indeed a feature of severe turbulance) - from all the snippets we have seen though, it seems that the drop in altitude continued all the way down to the beach.

we also know that it wasn't a case of both engines failing because one of them was still running on the beach after the crash.

*SPOILER BELOW*

those questions miss klugh was asking about walt do suggest that there's deep suspicions about whether or not some or all of the people on flight 815 were 'chosen' to be on the island...

oh for sure
there was something else like that too, i think with hurley...
anyways it seems like the first hour will be a recap type thing and the second the finale
but i have also seen that it will be just two full hours of new stuff
