I messed up a trick and the zippo fell and hit the ground and know the hinge is kinda broken
It is kinda rolled back so it can't open all the way or close all the way.
Has this happend to anybody else before?
Any tips on fixing it?

unless you have modified it, your zippo will be under a lifetime guarantee
i wouldn't mention that you were doing tricks when you dropped it though!

Edit: I read the warrenty again an it is the finish that is not warrentied, but it is still a week trip both ways

They just don't garranty the finish, if the hinge breaks or the case breaks in some other manner, they'll still fix it. I think.

The case is covered by the Zippo warranty. Just mail them the zippo and eplain that it got an overbite when you dropped it. Ive had it happen to my zippo's before and i fixed it myself. Close the case just press on the led in the right direction. Dont do this without the insert though because it could brake the hinge weld and it will be broken for sure.
