As I lay in bed last night reading a book there is lots of rustling outside. I look outside, and the rubbish bag and it contents are in a biiig pile on the patio. Rustling through said rubbish is a badger!
A baby badger sat on the steps to the garden and watched the big badger.

The big badger looked as if he mightyly enjoyed munching through our leftover chinese. (he was even clever enough to prize the lid open of the chinese food tub thing!).
They stayed for about an hour. Big badger munching, little badger watching.
I want them to visit again smile But make less mess...

just found this, so cute, but badgers are known for being mean, so be careful
on the squirrel note, there is a group with a long name devoted to these squirrels-something like "has anyone else noticed these squirrels are curiously okay with human contact"
they will steal food out of your hand while the food is on the way to your mouth...they will chase you away from their trash cans...they will sit at the end of a bench or over your shoulder and wait (the shy ones) for you to give them something

Necro-posting is considered purely unnatural and morally repugnant on other forums.

Just as well it isn't here.

Those pictures made me smile muchly smile
