Past few weeks Ive been playing with waist wraps where the arm on the side youre spinning on does its beats over the shoulder. I was wondering, though, what, if any, is the name for such moves? Ive never heard them being discussed and never heard a term for them - Though, I know they're rather old moves cuz PK did them years ago.

Let's turn those old bridges we crossed into ashes.
We'll blaze a new trail,
and torch the rough patches.

Btb side on? 5bt? I remember FNF trying to explain that move to me when i originally joined hop ubblol TY FNF smile

Im abit lost here, im pretty sure you would know that move already. It usually helps if its reverse 5bt over the sholder btb. Did you manage to get it to go over the sholder and THEN around the front as well?!? (under the sholder) eek

That gives me some ideas.... offset 5bt rev btb sideon

Nah, its not 5 beats. Only 2. For instance, right hand doing circles in front and back over the right shoulder, left hand doing circles in front and back waist wrapped BTB on the right side. Its a simple move and has been around a while. I was just wondering what this is classified as because its not really a waist wrap and its not really a weave or crossover.

Yes... It seems that way... In any case, it needs a name or descriptive term. Since no one else has said anything especially useful, might I suggest, shoulder wraps? Or perhaps split waist wrap?

i just call it a ww variation.
there are lots smile
i like doing this one more in bf ww.

if you hold the circles there, its more a reel variation (or a crosser if you prefer).

'shoulder wrap' fits more with the upper fountain (a waistwrap but with all the circles spun up around the shoulders).
