thought i'd start a thread on a few of my favourite words. They are words that dont get used particularaly often in every day language anymore, and i really wish they were, because they are lovely quirky words....

i know Ade, isnt it fantabulous? four of us were out last night, three HoPpers, and one non, and she said, Thats a corker! and we all just cracked up and i wrote down the word for this thread.... ` gotta love it!

Fair enough re: medical terminology, but I'd like to see you do your best to include:

Trichotelomania (compulsive pulling of ones own hair)
