Posted: A while back i invented Tubular or 'Fat' poi (see here ).
They fit in your pocket.
I was wondering how many of you have made them already, and how many will be.
Do any of you have any feedback on them from yourselves or observers?
How well do you think they work visually in comparison with traditional comet poi?
Is the future tubular?
Any thoughts or questions?
Tell me what you think!
Fanx!
Axis.
Plus: i am extra happy today 'cos soon i will be performing pyrotechnic stunts as part of a firework display in front of about 20,000 people.

Mine didn't taper enough though, so didn't fill with air and were generally a bit pants. When I get around to it, I'll be making some new ones that work better. I also found them a bit light, but I do tend to like my poi a little heavy.
I don't have anyone else views on mine, since after I decided they needed alot of changing, I scavenged the handles for some other poi I was making at the time - When I finish the new tube ones, I'll take them to Spitalfields and get some more opinions on them.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Posted: they sound darn cool but how different is the weighting (is that a word??) on them from tennis ball ones? they just seem like they'd be hard to manuver if they fill up with air.
oh and congrats on the fireworks display gig best of luck on that
