Anyone else having trouble with www.poiinthepark.net ? For the past week or more I haven't been able to pull up the site, this search page just comes up.

If other people are having the same trouble, it'll make me feel better....well....not better, but I'll know it's not my computer.

Cheers.

From that link, I get it as well...

Maybe the servers down?

The existance of flamethrowers says that someone, somewhere, at sometime said "I need to set that thing on fire, but it's too far away."

Thanks a lot. Although it's disappointing to hear (I think PiP was one of the best places for more advanced moves), at least now I know.

Cheers.

ok! problem is many things so i will start from the begining.

PIP, non funded operation funded only by love.

Monetary funding from public, non existant other than two donations from mech and cantus.

Sale of goods, non existant other than the bag and sweater i bought and the tshirt that duballstar bought.

Cost of moving to Italy and funding life with out a job... too much.

So ok, Serena's modem died and they cut off our ADSL, my PC died when i arrived to italy along with my nokia so there is NO DATABASE, 10euro an hour at the local internet point ! and i had no money.

Mech you did fail to send me the back up of the server!!! wink.

Anyway, i have no money going in to my UK bankaccount and after i arrived back in england yesterday to deal with my accounts and taxes today they tell me they have closed my bank account down so i dont have any way in which to pay for a server.

Today i had a very quick chat with bluGatto of te pooka and he told me about this thread and if the videos would like to go back online he will sort that out at some point.

So litterally i can not do nothing with poiinthepark the website, i have no cash, no bank account, had no time over the last 2/3 months anyway with serena being almost 6 months pregnant now and parallised for over a month not so long back.

For me it is a shame, but with out the database there will be no more PIP, unless it was rebuilt.... but long live HOP and long live spherc, i hope pip will remain in our hearts, it has been a journey and then some.

This summer i had started work on a new video too, but life went a little crazy 6 months ago that the filming never got finnished so maybe there will be a little some thing from me in the next year. For now it is back to working and trying to support a familly.

Thank you to every one for all of the support you have given me and a special thanks to all of the mods that have helped over the last 4 years.

If you have anything to share or want to contact me, then please PM me here on HOP. hug

PK: would a free server help at all? I might be able to get you some space on a server I use at some point...or is it too far gone to bother with?

Understandable if you're not interested, sounds like you're busy...

... Site engine is good, have now a copy in my person (thanks mech).

... There is 1 copy of the DB in London or some where that i must try to get hold of but might take a long time.

... Domain Name is being delbt with as we speak.

... New dedicated server is already in hands.

Maybe if we can not get the DB back we may start from scratch, all this has been discussed with site admins in a meeting over the weekend including future plans for the poiinthepark site and funding.

It was my baby, however im not the only person with a love in pip to give it up just yet...

*note, as of this week I also have a stand alone server at home where i do not need net access, so for the time being i can start building pip from scratch.
However i will be building it with a different site engine than before, though the previous has been wonderful i need net access to work with it so that is a no no!
(will not affect the illuminati website as that is out of my hands and non of my buisness, i was just the designer.)

So if you would all like to see pip return in one way or another then keep up with your support and give me some time to rebuild, but please dont forget that im due a baby in 4 months time so time for me is precious and my familly are my FIRST concerns.

Thank you all and thank you Malcolm hug

wednesday morning i fly back home to Italy but please keep in touch

Hahahaha,

Funny stuff. Well, sphism is kinda back on her feet. I'm back in nz with proper broadband. The dvd is almost finished and life's pretty sweet.

I just had a look for pip but can't seem to find it ??? Sphism has been is complete freefall for 4 months but i enjoy the chaos, gives poiple time to go practice haha.

Good luck PK, if you need any help/advice with video stuff gimme a shout. Just learnt loads in past 6 months, wanna get work in that area, dvd = portfolio etc,

Big love,

matt
