yom tov prayer is usually for religious holidays, but in good living, rabbis ask us to make of ever day a "little sabbath" which is distinguished in Hebrew from other "holy days" yet is a part of them in the next bigger classification.
shecheheyanu is not reserved for religious holidays.
the opening prayer is general and interfaith.
the closing toast blessing is personal.
