Because he's planning a daring escape to Morocco and wants the natives to be prepared for him by thinking he's already there.

it is a good avatar, unfortunatly I can't see any avatarses in their ordinary places under the owners' usernames outside the galleries. I'm sure there used to be a thread mentioning this problem but a couple of searches haven't turned it up. Any idea how I can fix it?

Go to your "my home", at the bottom of the personal preferances section there are options for viewing avatars, just make sure they are all clicked yes.

god and i went to all that trouble searching google, then reducing the size of the pic in paint shop pro.... i give up frown boohoo!
