Specifically around the Shields/Newcastle/Tynemouth/Sunderland area. I might have a car by Wednesday, but I'm not sure yet, so might not be able to travel far.

I'm a total newbie, using tailed poi, still very much so in the hitting-myself-in-the-face-on-a-regular-basis stage, and would really like to find someone to teach me / give me some random help / practice with me in general.

My next visit to Durham is going to be a long one- June 29th to August 15th. If you're around we should definitely meet up for a spin!

i see no-one has replied to this in nearly a year, but i'm from sunderland. i'm very very new to poi (am waiting for my first set to be delivered!) though i've always been fascinated by watching spinners when i've been at festivals and the like... i'm currently off work with depression, and i'm hoping that taking up poi will help me with that, as well as being a cool new hobby for me smile

Marsden as is between "Huddersfield and Manchester" Marsden? We've been doing some spinning over there for a couple of years now and never heard of anyone else doing it!
