That idea occured to me a while ago. I'd ment to post about it but I never got around to it. Great minds think alike, eh?

The little dude with the two firey circles would look great on a zippo.

Not those cheap lighters you can buy for about 50p, they're no use to anyone, but a really good quality one, that when it says windproof, it actually is!! And lights things real quick. The amount of time I've burnt my fingers when trying to light poi in a bit of a breeze...

the bunsen flame turbo tourch lighters damage your wicks when you use them, they cause lots of direct burn to the wick, and but the kind of sooty burn you get from burning a fuel through the wick

and it would cost a HUGE amount to produce a customised lighter for everyone

Just out of interest (this may be slightly off topic) but you know you get places that print your own images and stuff onto t-shirts ... is there anywhere that will do it for lighters? xxx

yes and no

the plastic used for printing onto t-shirts is a vynal (sp?)

the stuff you use for home printing is a shite imitation of it, and its poo

if you took a zippo to get pressed i odnt think it would stay on to well, or look good

best think you can do is get it stammped or engraved iwth a design if you want to get your personal logo on it, but that will invalidate your zippos life time warrenty.

I dont think we are thinking the same thing. i dont mean to use the same stuff as tshirt printing i mean just places that will let you design your ow lighter - like u get all the funky disposable ones with pictures on and stuff. xxx

Vix - I've found that with printed lighters you end up having to order at least 500.
Atleast then you would have a life time supply!

I'd rather go with a good quality refillable lighter that I can fill with my own butane/light fluid, rather than a dozen disposable ones. I don't feel like paying twice the cost on a disposable lighter because I have to import it from the other side of the world -.-
If I'm gonna get a lighter from HoP It's gonna have to be a good quality refillable lighter.

Um, I really don't think it will. It's only the lighter its self that's garanteed, they won't replace for damage to the finish. So, you can do just about anything you want to the exterior, that wouldn't invalidate the garantee.

I know there's heaps of shoe repair/key cutting shops that do engraving.

And as for the hop zippos.

Best idea ever!

They would sell fantastically

I think one of the polished metal zippos with the HOP logo on it would be pretty cool. No writing though.

Yeah i agree that that would be the best logo to have... i dont think it would fit across the lighter unless it was really small... and then there would be no point. hmmm..... xxx
