Hi guys. smile

I've offered to help someone make a change to a web site and am having some trouble.

I will use the existing template as here https://www.sudarshanaloka.org/sudarshanaloka.html
When I download the following files ...
1) the above https://www.sudarshanaloka.org/menu.js
2) https://www.sudarshanaloka.org/sloka-stylesheet.css
3) https://www.sudarshanaloka.org/sudarshanaloka.html

...and put them in the same directory

The menu doesn't work on my local pc as it does on the web when I hover over Sudashanaloka on the navigation on teh left.
It doesn't seem to execute the javascript.

Does anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong? confused

Anyone know much about paypal? Looks easy to set up?

Lastly I need to make a new page. How can I keep in the same style by making a header like the one "Sudarshanaloka - land of the beautifull vision" on this page?....must be an application or something?

thanks smile

I just downloaded the files myself and all seemed to work,

One thing I dod notice though...

Above you've written https://www.sudarshanaloka.org/menu.js

When it should be menuj.js

perhaps that's what the problem is?

Bump, with a new question:

How hard is it to make a guestbook? If it's not too hard, can someone tell me how to make one? i'd like to put one up on my site. I don't know a great deal about webhosty stuff, but i'll try to answer any questions you need to ask.

can you let us know about your server? Who is your host? URL? Do you have PHP? CGI?

So many questions.....

I'm hosted by www.hoptonhosting.com.au and i really don't know if i have php or cgi. Most of my page has been written in frontpage, but i can't use the inbuilt ones in there, cos it needs server extensions.

My url is www.mig.everythingforums.com

All i'm really after is a comments page, really. Just somewhere people can let me know of any problems, requests for photos and stuff.
