ive got a gap year coming up and have no idea what to do?

damn right. im clueless too Noddy...although i was thinking travelling related stuff...really want to make the most of this year, and read lots and meet lots of new people and do general things i've wanted to do in ages. www.gapyear.com has a few ideas of what to do...? was thinking of fiji coral reef conservation myself or learning to sail in thailand maybe. x

Spend 6 - 8 months saving up about £3000, then bum around Thailand and the far east for 4 months. That's what I did, was great (apart from having to work crappy jobs to raise cash). More money definitely means more fun though. biggrin

The biggest problem is at the end of the year, when you discover that you really don't want to come back!

im still on my gap year, up to september, i travelled a lot around europe, met loads of wicked peoples, then worked abroad for 3 months, met loads more wicked peoples, and didnt actually spend much money, mucho goodness for university, im not a fan of debt!

Aim high and you'll know your limits, aim low and you'll never know how high you could have climbed.
