has any1 tryd this, its quite cool.
1. pick the numba of times a week u wud like a pint or a glass of wine, whicheva u prefer but make it mor than once.
2. multiply the numba by 2
3. add 5
4. multiply by 50
5. if you hav already had ur birthday this year add 1755, if not add 1754.
6. now subtract the four digit numba of the year u wer born.
U shud now hav a 3 digit numba
The 1st numba is the 1 u started off with, the nxt 2 are ur age.
Iv been told that this is the only year that it will work in.

not meaning to be a poo, but could you retype that using more 'proper' english? we have a fair few people on this board that don't speak english as a first language, and translators don't tend to like 'numba' 'wud' 'wer' and stuff.

Jazzers Christo!! That is scary, i cant wait to try it on my friends. But il get them not to tell me their original number but show me the final answer. Then i can tell them their original number and they will be all scared. Pity it only works for this year.

Well, if you just distribute it's actually pretty fundamental.
Let X be your number and A be your age. So the year you were born would substitite as (2005-A)
1) X
2) 2X
3) 2X + 5
4) 100X + 250
5) 100X + 2005
6) 100X + A
So it'd just be easier if you said "Pick a number, mulitply it by 100, now add your age... you now have a 3 digit number, the first is the number you selected, the second is your age."
It will work any year, just change the 1755 by one every year.
