Can any one recommend a good download manager (preferably a free one redface)
I was using a trial one (https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com) and liked the fact you can pre set to download things when Iv been away from the comp so it doesn’t slow down when I'm actually using it ubbrollsmile and that I could download those annoying watch trough the browser movies and real player things so I can watch when not online ubbangel???

I have found a few online but am not a fan of installing stuff from little no name companies frown so if anyone is using one or could recommend one biggrin

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

P2P is different. A manager allows you to download (say fire videos) and pause them mid download and resume it again later. Real good if you only have 56k and also finds other hosts for you like p2p so its faster. smile

My manager allows me to rip streaming videos! biggrin free streaming movies saved so i can keep them. Its free and good to use, it will disconnect after download OR turn your computer off etc if you want it to. Gets good fast mp3's also.

Its called flashget you can get it from : https://www.amazesoft.com/

Or you could use shareaza : best p2p on the net! so much faster than kazaa (it is emule and alot of other software programs stuck into one) and no spyware, its also free and you can find it here : https://www.shareaza.com/?id=download

I find that reget deluxe is very nice. you need to 'register' it though, which is the only bad thing. It also works an an FTP browser, and can get stuff over a LAN and such as well.
