Sorry if it seems that this is turning into a "Rougie is away from home and the world is falling apart" board, but it's just that I'm not around enough to post my usual stupidity.
Yesterday my Aussie friend who is in this town with me spoke to my boss and got me the day off school. He told me my dad was going to call. Dad had called him earlier and arranged that he would be with me when I received the news...
so i was sitting at the pub (where i spent 80% of my time, usually til 2am!) and my father called to tell me that a close family friend who is like a mother to me (i refer to her sons as my 2 brothers) is in a coma with 3 fractures in her skull after a car hit her. they don't know if she will survive. Or when they will know the answer. All i can do is wait for another phone call...one that (i know this sounds terrible) i hope comes in the next 2 weeks while i am still in Romania with the other Aussie with me. I don't want it to come with me sitting in a random youth hostel somewhere.
And all i can think about is her 2 sons; 18 and recently 15. I am going to call them today...no clue what on earth you say to someone in their position. But I think i will just tell them that i love them.

loosing someone you're close to hurts soooo much. Loosing a parent (kinda parent) is i've found worse.
everyone here is willing to give you a shoulder to cry on, a ear to listen and give you as many hugs as you need.
