Although they're both the same I think poi shower involves less objects, ie poi are generally two where as juggling is generally 3+

Me and Rossco have been doing lots of these with poi lately.......

(for people who are left hand dominant, like me, reverse for right handers)

Start from same direction Clockwise W wall plane,

Throw the left poi up and over towards your right side. While it is in the air swap the right poi into the left hand.

Catch the thrown poi in the right hand

Repeat.

Looks quite smooth once you get the timing sorted, very useful for passing too. We're thinking of trying more poi but need some more indentical ones to make it work nicely

Hope that helps ubbrollsmile

erm... flowers?

Just a guess.. I don't know either of them tho...

The existance of flamethrowers says that someone, somewhere, at sometime said "I need to set that thing on fire, but it's too far away."

You sure you dont mean fountains? Fountains are a common poi move which is going from forward to reverse weave then back again while in wall plane.

Poi showers are possible too as Dunc stated... As are 1 handed poi showers (yummy).

Let's turn those old bridges we crossed into ashes.
We'll blaze a new trail,
and torch the rough patches.

so yah no1: Cole; thats a very inviting looking shower lol
no2 if u do meen a fountain i found that its better if a windmill/vertical figure 8 is added in between the forward and reverse weave, but below your waist with the beats going up @ u as oposed to the windmill done above your head.
so i would say the sequence links with : forward weave, underwaist windmill, reverse weave, normal windmill and back to normal weave, etc
loooks amazing

it must be green

i don't think you can get a better explanation than that...

dunc: trick request for you - shower round the body please; i.e. the throw is in front as normal but the pass goes btb hug

That'd be crazy plane control with only one spare beat after catching it, pass it BTB and throw it again from the front but we'll try just for you biggrin hug We've managed a few with the poi thrown from infront and caught BTB but not continuously....yet ubbrollsmile wink

Dunc- I've been playing with lots of this as well- have you tried this one:

outwards ttn- relase right under left catch same direction
repeat with left under right-
now right hand release btb to be caught same direction again in right hand
repeat with left-

Now doing it continuously. It looks lovely (and you can release under both legs separately to add to it smile

Looking forward to seeing some very silly things at Play smile

Yeah we've been trying these too, being that they're butterfly we've been calling them Cascade not Shower smile Although technically TTN throws like this could be a mess, I guess ubbidea

Not tried to continuous with the UTL throw but will later ubbrollsmile We've tried the coleman challenge and Ross has got it pretty sweet a few times, wish I didn't have a job and could practice all day frown wink

Have you tried same time and split time Chut? Makes for quite a change to the throwing and catching technique even tho it's basically the same pattern.

weavesmiley x juggle = biggrin

We managed some one handed at juggling club the other day bounce

Yes I've played with a bit of split and in time- currently trying to release outward butterly in time, then catch straight into a wibble tab-back and continue- also played with some attempts at 1 handed shower, but i end up just throwing one away after a few catches.

ubblol Yeah we had a similar experience! But it's worth spending a bit of time on it. We've found outside throws (ie...inwards butterfly) makes them easier to catch if that helps smile

You mean both at the same time for the outward butterfly to wibble yeah? I've managed this but seem to fall down on continuing to wibble both at once to the opposite arms. Need to spend some time with Matt at Uberpoi me thinks

Mine is more of a single wibble tap-back only- My new socks are too 'boingy' and don't wibble very well, So I'm thinking I'll have to replace them before I go on my travels smile
