If music is what you hear between the notes . . .

. . . . . Poi is how you feel between the moves . . . . .

And how do you feel between the moves?

wink

I think its funny hug

meditate

This is a preparation Thread for the Ueberpoi Class:The Dao of Poi since if we can discuss all important aspects of the Dao of Poi (btw all in total 42) I am no longer obliged to teach the class and therefore get the possibility to attend Arashis 'choreography, presentation, and poi dancing theory' class. Now we only have to find a way how to get Glass free from What is Good Poi so we gonna have a
full two class grouphug biggrin

Ueberpoi will censored

Greetings from Ocean Beach, SF

i'm artistically challenged and am clumsy to boot so the sand circles don't sound like something i'd be too helpful in making.

but i'll gladly climb up a big hill and take photos of them smile

as for the dao of poi, its all a mystery to me (hence you teaching it and not me wink)...

I'm artistically challenged too (can't draw anything, you should see my handwriting!), but all you need is a piece of string and you can draw perfect straight lines and circles, and all kinds of complex geometric stuff.

Is a sand circle workshop a possibility for Falmouth4?

If so I'll bring string, stakes, a rake and copies of Islamic patterns and How to Draw Celtic Knotwork for ideas. biggrin
