Meet in Bath - 2nd July 2005.

Place - My house. Makes it easier for people to gather in one place. It's only 5 minutes from the train station and parking is available. What more could you ask for when in Bath.

Time - From 12:00 onwards? This seemed to work well when we met up with Duncan so we'll go for this.

There are various parks and green spaces in Bath to go and have a spin. We could even take it to the streets and join in with the other street performers. So, i guess the plan is meet at mine then head off to Victoria Park maybe or wherever else takes our fancy.

Hope people can make it,

Gayle

Shame your not going to be able to join us but like Bird said it just means more hug2 at Falmouth.

It's going to be so nice to see my old Town again, I wonder if I can get in contact with anyone.....

Gayle, forgive me for being ignorant but is this lovely gathering just the Saturday or will it spill over into the Sunday as if it is only Saturday I will be needing to leave fairly early so that it doesn't take me until Sunday to get home.

Right - found the paraffin. Yeah! he only had three bottle thingys left but i told him i'd be back on sat to buy it all!!!

Sleeping space is available, we have a few duvets and sleeping bags but might be wise to bring something if you're a bit picky on sleeping arrangements.

If the weather is good we have a bbq that likes being abused.....

Bird - you still confsued love? give us a shout and i'll try and ease the confusion....

Sorry hun,

not gonna make this one as Mel and I will be in Dorset.

Bird - did I get round to to saying sorry for missing you in when I was last down? I needed to have some harsh words with some students who needed to have alcohol confiscated so things ended up taking more time than needed - I'll get Mel to make a tiramasu for you.

Gayle - you know me, I'm always confused, but the AA directions told me to go a completely differnet way than I expected! Any tips on the best way?

Either go M5 then M4 j18 then follow the A46. That's the most easiest with least roads to follow. But a waste of petrol as you go past bath then back down.

Or come off on M5 at J22 or and come up through the A roads - A39 i think. Less petrol but a bit more confusing......

A bit more of a pain in the ass than Bristol - but at least i can fit more than 3 people in at a time and there is room to sleep for everyone. We also have a wide screen telly so anyone with any poi type vids please bring them for late night amusement.

We also have a fridge just for beer!!! ubbloco

Catch all you guys on Sat - if any of you need anything like phone numbers or directions or info shout and i'll answer. Back at work tomorrow so online all day....

Should be well cool. Hope the weathers good...bounce

I'd just like to come in here to recommend the HoP Hotel in Bath, Neal and Gayle make the perfect hosts! I ubblove you both!

If in the Bath HoP hotel you have to share the fold out sofa with anyone I can recommend Bird and Flaming Deity although Flaming does giggle like a girly and Dave has a funny/scary one eyed odd look to greet you with when you wake up.... it made me laugh but it may scare small children and pets ubblol

Thank you to all that came and made my weekend so much fun. Good company, Spinning and curry..... what more could a girl ask for from a weekend ubblol

Thank you!

We're open for bookings all year and of course please come again!

I had a fantastic night and it was a shame about the drunk idiots but i hope it didn't spoil things too much for people.

Thanks Mr Mattress man for enabling us all to have a wicked curry, and thank you to the bus, coach, train and car companies that enabled people to come.

Lets do it again sometime ubbloco

Hi Jazza

This thread is a bit old .. there is another thread.. Sadly equally as un frequented, but bumping it up and reviving it might get you a response [Old link]

The other option is to visit Bristol where there is a lot of HoP spinners. the thread that keeps you up to date on what they are doing can be found [Old link]

I hope that helps. ubbrollsmile

Oh and Welcome to HoP smile
