We were driving home from Chicago today and all of the sudden everyone on the highway had to... stop. We were going about 70/80 mph (I think thats about 105-120 kph) and then all of the sudden everyone was stopped dead on the road. I felt the car grab onto the road and try to stay there we were stopping so fast..... is scary eek frown eek

But no one seemed to get hurt in all of that- it was just a really weird moment smile

So i'm home safe and sound, but i felt like venting some left over adrenaline. I could also tell silly wedding stories (my "cousin" got married this weekend) but i guess thats another thread

That happened to me on the 80/94. For six hours. Apparently a truck carrying reams of copy paper hit a bridge support and sheared open.

You can only imagine the mess as tons of sheets of copy paper traveling at 100-120 kph suddenly were strewn all over...
