I seem to be constantly moving around, since the ripe old age of 12. I've lived in loads of places as a kid, then carried on said tradition as an adult (after leaving home when I was 15!)

Now, I'm currently in the second-longest accommodation since (it's been 8 and a bit months) but I'm so accustomed to change, I have to move my room around every couple of months. Even so far as to having to re-decorate (which I'm about to start doing in this gaff).

"THERE'S A VOICE,
THAT KEEPS ON CALLING ME.
DOWN THE ROAD,
IS WHERE I'LL ALWAYS BE.
EVERY STOP I MAKE,
I'LL MAKE A NEW FRIEND.
CAN'T STAY FOR LONG, JUST TURN AROUND AND I'M GONE AGAIN.

MAYBE TOMORROW, I'LL WANNA SETTLE DOWN,
UNTIL TOMORROW, I'LL JUST KEEP MOVING ON"

Pull my pin out, roll me in to a room and see what happens ubbloco

I get these sudden bursts of energy sometimes. A few years back, when I used to work in the big smoke, I was sat at my desk and burst out with "Woooooah Body form, Body form for you!"

I wasn't totally sure why! Got some funny looks sometimes but it became sort of a tradmark (even though it was subconcious - like Marcus in "About a Boy")

See, I wanna burst it out now lol

sorry offtopic

Moving sucks so much more than you'd think it would.

Indeed.

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

moving sucks, especially when you pack the kettle and the mugs at the bottom of a box and you can't find it!

The good thing about moving is that you often find things that you thought you had lost or forgotten about when you are packing.

It'll be nice once you've settled in!

Arrghh don't even get me started!!! I'm supposed to be moving on Friday, but everythings falling through again and ARRGHGHHH going insane!!! Couldn't go out and do any spinning because I have soo much to pack that i'm not allowed to leave the house - and i've been told that when we move i'm not allowed to go out and spin with or without fire...because the neighbours might think we're weird!

ARRRGGGHHH!

Argh, everytime i've got a move ahead of me I always think that unlike last time, i've really got things under control this time; it'll be easy, right? A few stress-related ulcers later, i'm usually not quite so enthusiastic :S

The most annoying thing is not being able to have music going 24/7. Granted, the stereo is usually the first thing i set up when i get to a new house.

I'm moving home too in August, thing is I'm also supposed to be in another country visiting relatives at the same time as I have to move. confused

I'm not going to be very happy if my boyfriend has to move without me, I know he won't unpack stuff properly, he's awful at moving! He just kind of stuffs everything into boxes in an unorganised manner then empties said boxes over the floorr of new house. Then i'll have to clean up when I get back. Grumble grumble.

I move back home in 2 weeks time- thats a bloody scary proposition to think of considering I've been out on my own for 4 years- still, the joys of leaving studenthood skint as a skint man have made it necessary, albeit briefly.

Well, here it is seven months later.

I didn't think I'd be back at this exercise so soon...

But the boxes are here, I need to pack...

And I won't have internet access until the end of next week, so don't expect to see me online a heck of a lot.

I hate moving. And I hate coordinating things in New York City. Nobody wants to do their friggin' job.

Ok, I need to run over to my new place to see if there might be an open wireless network that I can use...and to see (and I doubt it happened) if the electric company turned on the electricity.

Well, the good news is that if I'm in my kitchen (or possibly sitting where my sofa will be) I can pick up a wireless network that I can use free of charge.

Not ideal, but will work for now.
