I guess I can see how many may find it kind of shallow. My ex-girlfriend got me to start an account, but it ended up becoming a great way to keep in touch with all my friends who've moved far away over the years.

It is a momumental time pit. Though, eventually I think every knew that someone would eventually come along and consolidate live journal, friendster, tribes, bulletin boards, chat rooms, and local even calenders all into one site.

I ended up getting hooked on it. And it's a good outlet for the random drunken thoughts I get around 4am whene there is rarely an actual human around to share them with, lol. I've also ended up meeting some fantastic people through that site. I also now know a great deal more about css and html than I ever thought I would thanks to myspace.

i used to be on there but cancelled my account as i thought it was pooh. lol.
