ok well its confirmed.

IVe booked the date in, and so now we have a lovely big Hall with a Kitchen and toilet block, along with a big ass campign area and flat area to use for the weekend! sept 30, Oct 1, 2 and 3. Its in a beautiful location only 5 minutes from the closest Public Transport and Supermarket, or 25 minutes by car from the Adelaide GPO. We can arrange transport to and from the site from the Bus stop given a bit of notice.

We've also bought a big ass markee to use as a 2nd learning area if the workshops get too big to fit in the hall.

I was thinking we could also have a bit of a party on the saturday night if people were able to chip in for a PA...

so yeah - if you are interested in something or doing something else - say so!

and yes - there will be a large campfire, and a big fire spin.

So. Just heard from Ben that the intended supply of d60 fell through.

Anyone know of any available options for clean burning fuel? d60, d70, ksolt or similar- which can be obtained in Adelaide before next Friday?

Not keen on using Citronella mixed with Shellite, or kero.

I'd say as a precaution to bring separate twirling clothes if you haven't already so that you don't smell up the tent with kero traces. redface

well i purchased a 200L drum. so i think there should be enough for everyone. If people really want to help though, you can send me PMs of the amount you wish for and i can try and i really mean try, to get some containers in those sizes for people. I can't promise anything, but i'll try.

Containers is going to put you right out of pocket Spike. If ppl want fuel to take home maybe get them to bring their containers and measure it out and pay as they go.

That way you arent having to bring heaps of containers to CG.
wonders if Spike has a ute

What if we measure it the same way archimedes did in ancient greece, by immersing himself in a bath of fire fuel. The amount he displaced equaled the volume of his body!
If we're doing that, I'd like 2 Ry's and a Valura of fire fuel, thanks!

there will be some fuel provided by your ticket cost, however that is not in a separate container, it is going to be a communal thing of approximately 50L. However those wishing to purchase fuel for their own use and/or to take home with them, they can do so. That's what i was after orders for. Sorry for the confusion.
