ok well its confirmed.

IVe booked the date in, and so now we have a lovely big Hall with a Kitchen and toilet block, along with a big ass campign area and flat area to use for the weekend! sept 30, Oct 1, 2 and 3. Its in a beautiful location only 5 minutes from the closest Public Transport and Supermarket, or 25 minutes by car from the Adelaide GPO. We can arrange transport to and from the site from the Bus stop given a bit of notice.

We've also bought a big ass markee to use as a 2nd learning area if the workshops get too big to fit in the hall.

I was thinking we could also have a bit of a party on the saturday night if people were able to chip in for a PA...

so yeah - if you are interested in something or doing something else - say so!

and yes - there will be a large campfire, and a big fire spin.

You don't need a shower to get clean, just use a bucket of water and a sponge.

It's called Polony in WA, Fritz in SA and Devon in the Eastern states...

It actually tastes slightly different in each state too.

Fritz and sauce sandwiches all round!

Haha, used to love them as a kid.. Free slice of Fritz from the butcher was always great!

And yes, Valura, I believe it's more or less the same as Luncheon, although I'm always happy to have some and be proven wrong. smile

Don't worry Puk, I'll be more than happy to take a gummi bear or two for you, biggrin besides I hear they are allergic to fire, might want to keep some handy.

Um there is a beautiful river chillout spot about 5 minutes drive from the site where it is possible to swim. It will be absolutely FREEZING tho, and possibly, depending on the rainfall, fast flowing and a bit dangerous. probly not such a good idea, but I'll check it out closer to the date. Hey Ben, I'll have to take you down there - its a wicked spot for a little winter twirl doof smile

do you mean Morialta Gnorc? Im talking about the upper Torrens river not 4th Creek smile The Torrens runs all year round...although a lot faster and deeper in winter / Spring smile No Waterfalls tho...

I can defintely recommend going for a walk in Morialta Conservation Park tho if the weater is good, its a beautiful example of the Mt Lofty Ranges Natural wonders, and again, less than 10 minutes drive from Common Ground. smile Theres an awesome (but strenous) walk you can do from Common ground to the top of the Morialta falls - takes about 2 hours each way tho...and is kinda hilly. at that time of year tho could be something to think about for those so inclined?
