I had 4 tattooes, I had them hidden from my parants until I had an evil dream that I died in a climbing accident, my mum came in to identify the body and she said it wasnt me cause her son didnt have tattoo's. I thought it was crap that I was hiding them so I told them.

I stayed away from home for 2 days before my dad calmed dowm smirk but telling them was the best thing ever. It showed I respected them enough to let them know.

It is now 10 years later and I have 9 tats, my parents know about every one and although they hate them they accept that they are a part of me.

moral of this story- tell your parants the truth. Its not as bad as it seems and it is best in the long run in all honesty.

tattoo removal is painful but these days if you do your research you can find some very effective topical anesthetics. extreme care much be taken when using these tho as large coverage on the sign can cuase toxicity and even death in some cases.

but as a rule you can find some great options which is great if your only option is a coverup tattoo that maybe uglier than the original.

The last two posts are slightly after the fact by 4 years or so, maybe not a lot of help to the original poster wink

well I know that, but other people might come across this on a google search or something.

all right all right, I cant help but poke my nose into other peoples business. And evan though the thread was from 05, I felt that my opinion had to be stated.

Like Ive said previously. Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
